Well, I'm still hopefull. Moto seems somewhat interested on my old Atrix getting ICS, and it's running the non tablet Tegra 2 SoC, too (which, for whatever reason, is different from the tablet version).
I'm also glad to see some competition. Both Apple and MS don't like competition, so we should be happy that at least Google enjoys and supports it. Thanks to Android only, TI, Samsung, NVidia, Qualcomm, ... spend a lot of moeny in R&D for faster, better, cheaper SoCs, and don't focus on a single SoC like Apple and MS does. Google selects one SoC for their own Nexus line to push its adoption, the next Nexus device will be based on a different SoC. (Nexus One: Qualcomm, Nexus S: Samsung, Galaxy Nexus: TI, Nexus 7: NVidia)
Anandtech can't or won't get the licensed version of the test to gt the subtest details? I hope you do and that this is just Brian creating his own short article from the free version.
Yeah we have had access to the full version for quite a while now, since launch when I posted that piece 1 year 7 months ago. This is just noting the free version is out, here are some tests, etc :)

Running CM7 (GB 2.3.7) @ 1.1Ghz I get:Native Resolution: 38.840717
My phone compares to the SGS2, but we're not good enough for ICS (No official drivers from nVidia).
OffScreen (720p): 69.54677
Here, we smoke the competition with the exception of the newer Tegra3's.
Never again will I purchase an LG or nVidia based product again (failures to support customers and community).

That's there's THAT many different models yet Apple/MS get by with one or two different cores/gpus etcUpSpin - Monday, August 13, 2012 - link

That's how competition works.
