    Great set of games.
It is a pity they don't also give Thief on PS4, but a great month regardless.

Yep! Transistor is a good game and pretty much makes the month all by itself. :D

    Wow. Yeah, great month.

Transistor, Yakuza 4 and Thief are all things I was pondering buying.

My Plus subscription is currently lapsed, because I didn't have enough reason to renew it in December or January. But now I think I'm back onboard.

I'm baffled by the bad reviews on Thief. I haven't finished it yet, but everything I've played of it is great. (I own a current gen version.)

Yakuza doesn't get enough attention. It's really the continuation of the gameplay Sega started with Shenmue (though with less fork-lift LOL). I bought/played/loved both 3 and 4.

I'd LOVE another one, but I think 5 is actually out in Japan maybe, and hasn't come here? At any rate, claims that Sega's no good are easily shown to be bogus when they put out stuff like Yakuza and Binary Domain and Vanquish.

Yakuza 5 is scheduled for North American release in Fall of 2015 on PS3. It'll probably be digital download only; I don't expect it to have a retail disk release.

Sega actually has made some of my favorite games of all time. I think they are panned mostly because of Sonic, which has been mostly bad since about the year 2000. I actually liked Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast, but Sonic Adventure 2 was pretty bad IMO because of the slow sections with other characters. Also, 3D Sonic games have terrible camera, which is enough of a problem to affect the reviews. Also, they are generally only given about 9 months of development time, which isn't enough time to make a quality game. It would be interesting to find out what Sega could do with Sonic if they had a real 3 year development cycle. Though we will probably never find out, because the bean counters would say it doesn't make financial sense.

Zounds! Nice month for you PSers. I shall now go investigate Apotheon on Steam since this is the first I've heard of it.
